During Teen Tech Week, March 7-13, Bradwell Institute and Liberty County High School offered teachers the chance to learn more about non-print information services and web 2.0 tools that can be used with students to express learned content. Some of the workshop topics offered included:
United Streaming/ Discovery Online Digital Content,
Animoto.com,
netTrekker,
Adobe Premiere Elements
Students in Ms. Sue Bell's literature class are seen here filming in front of a green screen. The group filmed a short talk show segment where they pretended to be Olympian curlers. Students learned how to import the footage into Adobe Premiere Elements and the chroma key effect to place themselves on the ice and in a curling rink!
Next year, Teen Tech Week is scheduled for March 6-12. Check in to your library media center to check out the fun!
